nothing can stop me now...

Athens again. Yesterday I arrived in Athens to meet Lauren and continue on our trip through Greece, Turkey and Egypt. I took the ferry for 5 hours and met a really nice couple who gave me great travel tips and also gave me a ride to the metro station which was super nice. I got onto the metro to head to my hotel and when i got off the metro i went for my wallet and it was stolen. Within the first 1 hour upon my arrival in Athens everyone to my name was gone. I spent the next 3 hours canceling credit cards, calling the embassy but of course it was Sunday, but i managed to get everything worked out. I now have a new passport and thank god for BofA over-nighting me a new credit card.

I dodged the swine flu, survived a stolen wallet with credit cards, money, passport and drivers license, threw my brains up...I'm ready for anything.

Today has been nice we went all over Athens and explored. I'm staying my first night in a real hostel and its kinda cool. Everyone i have met here has been really nice, even a woman today in the metro station helped me take my bag down the stairs out of no where. Some times it's those little things that make even the worst day better.

tata for now :)

santorini

Hello friends and family!

I am alive and well! I know i haven't posted at all, but i have a couple of seconds so here it goes...

Israel was the most amazing place in the entire world, everything about that country was fabulous. My group was so much fun and almoat everyone was from LA so of course everyone knew everyone through someone else, especially with the jewish connection. I was in Israel for 2 weeks then I met up with my mom in Greece. Athens was great so rich in history and culture and the wine..forget about it :)

We then headed to Myonkons for 3 days despite the fact that everything was really expensive it was a beautiful place, the beaches the houses long the rocks and the beautiful sunsets. On thursday we headed to Santorini (where we are now) and our ferry to get here was from hell. I was throwing up the entire time, it was almost worse than the snorkle boat in Hawaii. After and afternoon of sleeping off how sick i was we enjoyed a gret dinner and hund out by the beach. The next day we rented ATV's and road around the entire island, and it was the best day ever! we went cliff diving and ate great fruit, had an amazing crepe and watched the sunset from this little resturant on the edge of the cliff.

My trip is half way through and I'm really excited for the other countries. Tommorrow i head to Athens to meet up with Lauren and then we are going to Turkey and Egypt.

Hopefully i can update sooner :)

I hope everyone is doing welll and i'm excited to see what everyone is up too.

And i am totally shocked that MJ died wtf???

From Israel I hop on a flight to Athens, Greece and meet my momma and cousin Katie, we are then traveling through most of the Greek Islands, we are celebrating our birthdays and meeting sexy greek men. After i depart my family i head on a 7 hour ferry to Athens and meet Lauren. Lauren and I are going are starting in Athens, working our way to Istanbul, Turkey, hoping on a bus to Cappadocia then Izmir, Epheses, and all we know is we have 5 days to get to Rhodes, Greece then we spend a couple days in Rhodes before we head to Cairo, and Alexandria.

This is a really rough map of my trip. The red is my Birthright trip, the purple is my Greece trip, the yellow is my Greece, Turkey and Egypt trip and the orange is my trip home.
